The attachment of Trade Commodity's director's property was declared to be illegal

Today, on November 13, there was a court session of the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv, where the investigating judge examined the request of the defense to cancel the attachment of the Vadym Maiko's property (the founder and director of Trade Commodity).

Despite the fact that the company officials were always open to law enforcement authorities and repeatedly offered to provide all the necessary information to the detectives of the NABU, the Bureau went with a power projected scenario for investigation and with their illegal actions got the property of the Trade Commodity's Director Vadym Maiko attached.

We would like to note that this motion for attachment of Vadym Maiko's property initially did not have reasonable and adequate grounds.

As a result of the measure that was taken his human rights were violated and his freedoms were restricted. Therefore, the defense filed a counter-motion to remove an attachment on grounds of the inconsistency of apprehensions and the attachment of the company director's the property.

Having verified the arguments of the prosecutor's motion regarding the attachment of the director's of Trade Commodity property, the court concluded that they were invalid. The Solomensky District Court of Kyiv determined that the arrest was unreasonably imposed and adopted a ruling on lifting of an attachment of director and founder of Trade Commodity LLC Vadym Maiko. This definition of the investigating judge is not a subject to appeal.
